RENTAL VTX A8 Ground Frame

The JBL Professional VTX A8 BP is a robust and versatile steel base plate designed to facilitate the ground stacking of VTX A8 arrays. This universal adapter frame allows VTX A8 cabinets to be securely stacked on top of compatible subwoofers or other support structures such as stages, scaffolding, or carts, offering flexibility for various deployment setups. By connecting to subwoofers equipped with an M20 pole mount adapter, such as the VTX B28 or VTX B18, the VTX A8 BP provides a solid and stable base for the array. The M20 screw included with the plate ensures a secure connection between the base plate and the subwoofer, while the rear angle selection bar enables precise tilt adjustments from -15 to +5 degrees, optimizing sound dispersion for different environments.

The VTX A8 BP base plate also offers a practical and efficient solution for ground stacking VTX A8 arrays without the need for subwoofers. It is equipped with M10 through holes at the four corners, allowing users to permanently attach the base plate to other support structures for added security. Additionally, the base plate features one 50 mm (2 in) through hole on each side, designed for easy use with ratchet straps to further secure the stack during transportation or when deployed in place.

For precise configuration and optimal performance, JBL's LAC-3 prediction software can be used to calculate the load conditions and mechanical safety of the arrays. This ensures that the VTX A8 BP is used within its designed limits, guaranteeing safe and reliable operation. The lightweight design of the base plate does not compromise its strength, providing a durable solution for supporting up to 8 VTX A8 enclosures with a safe limit of 2 VTX A8s.
