The DiGiCo SD12 digital mixing system raises the bar on user expectations for a compact, affordable, multifunctional digital console. The SD12 is not only a real workhorse, it also features two huge 15-inch touchscreens that have never been seen before on a console in this price category. It's also the first SD console in the lineup with a built-in interface for channel-by-channel recording. This makes “virtual soundcheck” extremely easy.
Moreover, the SD12 also has a DVI video output for connecting an external monitor, for example to display the levels of all signals. The new LED indicators have improved brightness and allow you to work with the console faster and more efficiently, and the Lightbar backlight panel is the same as in the SD5 and flagship SD7 consoles. DiGiCo have even managed to find room for two assignable master faders, previously only available in larger DiGiCo consoles.
